LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, on Saturday, blamed the Punjab government for deaths of patients in Lahore caused by spurious drugs, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to reporters in Lahore, Khan said that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari shared similar interests.

Expressing fears that transparent elections may not be a possiblity under President Zardari's leadership, Khan said his party will participate in the next general elections.

Khan said that Zardari and Sharif will not be able to stop his political Tsunami and his party will challenge all other political parties in the elections.

On forming coalition with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), he said talks with MQM are possible if they avoid politics of guns.
