LAHORE, Feb 3: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf Punjab secretary-general Dr Yasmin Rashid has said that Pakistan has made little progress in any sector, including culture.
Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, she said no step had been taken to promote national culture, traditions and regional languages. She said no strategy was devised by the authorities to convey the message of Sufi poets to younger generations.She warned that coming generations would be devoid of culture and traditions if urgent measures were not taken to protect art and culture in Pakistan.
Also present on the occasion were PTI cultural wing leaders Babar Mehdi, Rana Saleem, Shahid Risal and Qasim Mahmood.
