ABU DHABI: Pakistan spinners Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman were listed among the top 10 test bowlers in rankings published by the International Cricket Council on Sunday.

According to the ICC, two Pakistan spinners have not made the top 10 in 23 years.

Offspinner Ajmal is listed second behind South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn while leftarmer Rehman improved five places after his 6-25 on Saturday and is listed at No. 9. England's James Anderson is listed third.

The pair has taken the bulk of the 40 England wickets to fall in the two test matches, with Ajmal taking 17 and Rehman 12.

Both will be looking to raise their totals when they take on England in the third test at Dubai, where Pakistan won the first test by 10 wickets.

Well an impressive and outstanding performance by the two spinners, i think the way they were bowling they would have troubled any world class batsman, the team looks fantastic under misbah and mohsin khan, all the best guys it was lovely watching team perform like that after a long time keep up, PCB please keep ur politics away from the team as it is heading towards sky and can even beat australia at this time

Golden Era of Spin bowling is on for Pakistan team.I think the Trio of Ajmal,Rehman and Hafeez is best in business in last decade.They are deadly and lethal.They are dangerous on any wicket.Please don't forget Pakistan and their achievement is all Away matches not being played on home wicket.Its not the same parameter for other Cricket playing nations at home.
