KARACHI: Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) beat National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) while Wapda and Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) played a draw in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) on Tuesday.

KRL beat NBP 3-1 at Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad. The goals for the winners were scored by Mohammad Adil (21st min), Kaleemullah (62nd min) and Kamran Ahmed (90+3 min) while Abdul Aziz (44th min) reduced the margin for the losing side.

At the Railway Football Stadium in Lahore, KESC held Wapda to a 1-1 draw.

Zulfiqar Ali Shah (28th min) scored for Wapda and Mohammad Rasool (44th min) equalised for KESC.

Meanwhile, two matches were played in the second division league at the Punjab Football Stadium in Lahore. Faisalabad University FC beat Baloch Quetta FC 2-1.

The goals for the winners were scored by Usman FC (29th min) and Mohammad Burhan (65th min) while Rafique (49th min) reduced the margin for the losing side.

In the second match, Wohaib FC beat Young Blood Sahiwal 3-0 with the goals coming from Nauman (66th and 81st mins) and Faheem (73rd min).
