KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain Jadeed Khan Pathan’s hat-trick enabled Afghan FC to beat Baloch FC 3-1 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match played at the Noushki Football Stadium in Noushki on Monday. Jadeed Khan scored the goals in the 30th, 48th and 75th minutes while Baloch FC’s only goal was scored by Shahbaz earlier in the eight minute.

In another match, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) beat Karachi Port Trust (KPT) 4-2 at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad. The goals for the winners were scored by Mohammad Sher (seventh min), Mansoor Khan (47th min), Mohammad Junaid (65th min) and Mohammad Mujahid (82nd min). Zafar Majeed (21st min) and Shahid Saleem (60th min) reduced the margin for KPT.

Meanwhile, two second division league matches were played at the Railway Football Stadium in Lahore. In the first march Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) thrashed Sui Southern Gas Limited (SSGC) 3-0. Two goals for the winners were scored by Iftikhar (37th and 70th mins) and while Izhar added another in the 71st minute. The second match between Pakistan Public Works Department (PPWD) and Pakistan Television (PTV) ended in a goalless draw.

Earlier on Sunday, Army edged past National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) 1-0 at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad. The deciding goal was scored by Shakeel Yousuf in the 79th minute.

PMC Athletico beat Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) 2-1 at the PMC Football Ground in Ahmedabad. Mohammad Rashid (35th min) and Naveed Mumtaz (82nd min) scored for the winners while Mohammad Rasool (71st min) reduced the margin for KESC.
