
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Leader, Asad Qasir here Monday termed Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) show in Faisalabad as flop that was evident from the lackluster enthusiasm and sentiments of people.
“The sentiments of public in PML-N meeting in Faislabad suggested that it was a dull and boring show despite use of Punjab government's machinery to make it attractive and large,” he told APP.
"This flop show has clearly indicated the decline of popularity graph of PML-N in Punjab."
He said the leadership of PML-N was confused and scared with the rising popularity of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Qasir said Punjab government's machinery was used to make Faislabad show a success.
The PTI historic show at Lahore and the flop show of PML-N at Faisalabad, he said, made it crystal clear that people have rejected the politics of confrontation and agitation. He said PML-N leadership was victim of Imran Khan phobia and was perplex over his rising popularity.
He said those, who are leveling baseless allegations against PTI Chief, should also answer public that who had entered political arena with the support of establishment and Gen Zia.
Asad Qasir said PTI was a reality and would emerge as a big political force in the upcoming general election.
“The people want political change for addressel of their problems and are looking towards PTI,” he remarked. He urged PTI leadership to stage a public meeting in Faisalabad to show its strength.
He said PTI show at Jhagra Peshawar on November 25 was only organized on joining of seasoned politician Iftikhar Jhagra. He said eminent politicians and notables are contacting PTI for joining due to its progressive and goal oriented agenda.
