After Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s bitter experience with the Indian authorities, our very own, glib-talking Veena Malik too recently had to undergo a similar ordeal at Mumbai airport.

According to an Indian newspaper, Veena M had unaccounted for, dutiable goods worth between Rs40,000 and Rs50,000 that she was carrying at Mumbai airport. After a brief detention she had to pay a fine of Rs10,000 after which she was allowed to leave the airport. Hmm… even Bigg Boss didn’t come to her rescue! That’s strange.

There appears to be a pattern with the Pakistani showbiz people getting questioned at Indian airports.

Either they’re terribly innocent or awfully stupid that they get ensnared in this customs web over and over.
