Yasin Azad wins election of SCBA

KARACHI: Yasin Azad has been elected as President of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) for the year 2011-12. Azad received 940 votes while his opponent Justice (r) Rashid Rizvi bagged 858 votes.

1798 members of SCBA caste their votes in all the main cities of the country on Saturday.

In Karachi the polling was held in the premises of Sindh Bar Council where 225 members casted their votes.
