DPO’s PA nabbed

SHIEKHUPURA, Oct 18: An Anti-Corruption Establishment team on Tuesday caught red-handed the personal assistant to the district police officer taking bribe from a colleague.

Abdul Razak, the personal assistant to District Police Officer Afzal Mehmood Butt, was nabbed receiving Rs50,000 from another police official, allegedly for getting him promoted to the next rank. The raid was conducted by a deputy director of the ACE on a tip-off.

B-Division police have registered a case against the accused and arrested him.
