In March this year, the Pakistan Education Task Force declared an education emergency in Pakistan. The Task force itself was created to support the implementation of the new National Education Policy and is mandated by the prime minister of Pakistan and supported by the UK government.

Mohammad Anwezada, went to 30 schools in constituencies where current education ministers were elected from, to see the situation of these schools. This is what he documented.

The principal of a primary and secondary government school in Islamabad has managed to keep her school at par with private schools in the country. With intelligent use of the limited resources the school receives, she has kept the learning spirit alive within the classroom walls.
