ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has been accused of having his interfering in the investigation of NICL case.  In response to this, on Wednesday he has decided to do the examination through his lawyer, DawnNews reported.

Justice Ghulam Rabbani gave the Interior Minister and Secretary Interior an opportunity to examine the former investigation officer, Zafar Qureshi who had accused them.

However, both did not show up in the investigation and put forward their demand of examining Qureshi through their lawyers.

The court has raised the question whether the accused can be examined through a lawyer in the process of inquiry or not.

Consequently, the court has postponed the inquiry till Friday.
