ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik on Wednesday directed the concerned authorities to to regulate visit of Zaireen to Iran and ensure their protection.

He was chairing a high level meeting which was attended by Federal Secretary Interior, Provincial Home Secretaries and Inspectors General of Police (IGPs).

The meeting reviewed law and order and security situation, particularly the incident of firing at a bus in Quetta.

Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan informed that protection to Zaireen traveling from Quetta to Iran is already being provided.

They said for the protection of two localities i.e. Mariyabad and Hazara Town, special security measures have been taken and all passenger transport - including Vans and Wagons will be on road with armed security guards during movement from one point to other.

All buses would have two armed security guards while patrolling has been enhanced, they said and added section 144 will be imposed with more vigour.
