ATTOCK, Oct 3: A young man committed suicide after being snubbed by the parents in Fatehjang.

Sources said that Muhammad Bilal, a resident of Fatehjang strangled himself at home soon after his parents rebuked him on some misconduct on Sunday evening. As a result his condition deteriorated and he was rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters hospital Fatehjang where he was declared dead.

Contrary to this, the close relatives of the deceased have alleged that the youth died due to unnecessary delay in provision of first aid to him, sources maintained.The angry relatives also became infuriated and started protest against the hospital staff's negligence, in which they tried to attack the duty staff.

Sensing the awkward situation, the hospital administration informed the local police, who rushed to the scene and controlled the situation. — Correspondent
