UMERKOT, Oct 1: The two women allegedly raped by three landlords in a relief camp on Thursday have moved an application on Saturday to high-ups over police bias in giving a twist to their case by registering the FIR showing it as an ‘attempt only’ and omitting the name of third culprit. Complainant Sodho and victim women further said that since they were illiterate, police didn’t register the case as narrated and registered a case of an attempted rape and also deleted the name of Jamal. Chhore police registered the case after a report appeared in this newspaper on Saturday.—Correspondent
