LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday adjourned till October 7 the hearing of petition filed by Jamatud Dawa (JuD) Chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed for the implementation of a resolution unanimously passed by the Parliament against United States drone attacks on Pakistani soil.

A deputy attorney general submitted the government's reply that the court could not interfere in the matter as it was privilege of the government to form policy to stop the drone attacks.

However, petitioner's counsel sought time to file rejoinder. The court accepting request adjourned the matter till October 7.
