ISLAMABAD: HEC Scholar from North Waziristan Agency Qudratullah has clinched gold medal in M.Phil (Veterinary Clinical Medicine and Surgery) from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

Qudratullah was selected for postgraduate scholarship programme under HEC project Provision of Higher Education opportunities for students of Balochistan and FATA in 2008, said a press release.

He successfully completed his M.Phil studies and obtained 3.99/4.00 CGPA. He has also received the Certificate of Honor by the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences.

It is very difficult not only for me but for every student belonging to poor or middle class families to get higher education in a country where education has become too expensive,says Qudratullah.

He said that such opportunity is an important step to resolve the crisis of less privileged areas specially the war affected FATA areas by educating their youth.
