Ban on pillion riding lifted in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan Saturday announced lifting of ban on pillion riding on motorcycles in Karachi with immediate effect.

“The ban has been lifted to facilitate the public after improvement in law and order situation in the metropolis,” his spokesman quoted him as saying.

The Home Department was also expected to issue a formal notification in this regard.
