ISLAMABAD, Aug 9: Islamabad Traffic Police’s FM Radio 92.4 on Tuesday started a special transmission – Complaint Cell.

The programme has been started on the direction of Interior Minister Rehman Malik to hear public complaints and ensure resolution at the earliest.

In his comments, the minister said FM Radio 92.4 was playing an important role in educating the citizens on traffic rules, adding that its programmes were popular.

The minister directed the Islamabad police to set up a complaint cell and introduce a programme where people can openly lodge their complaints about police attitude or other problems.

IGP Bani Amin Khan on Tuesday joined the first programme of the special transmission of the complaint cell. He received 25 live calls of the citizens.
