KARACHI: Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Mohammad Anwar claimed on Sunday that all the landline telephones of Party’s headquarter “Nine-zero” in Azizabad had been disconnected, DawnNews reported.
Other members of MQM coordination committee second Anwar’s claim and feared a terrorist attack.
MQM coordination committee has called a meeting to discuss the latest development and to formulate a strategy to tackle the situation.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah discards MQM claims, saying there was no substance in such claims.
Speaking to media, he said his party was persuading MQM to rejoin the government.
