The second day of the Pakistan Premier Football League saw wins for KRL and NBP and a shocking loss for defending champions Wapda at the hands Afghan FC.

The first match of the day between KRL and Baloch FC at the Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium in Quetta produced a seesaw battle in which KRL prevailed 2-1. Baloch FC opened the scoring through Mohammad Naeem in the 18th minute, proceeded by an equaliser in the 22nd minute by Kaleemullah of KRL. Mehmood Khan gave KRL the lead just before half-time and it was enough to register a win even with a full 45 minutes still to be played.

The second match saw Afghan FC stun champs Wapda 1-0 through a goal by Abdul Hadi in the 39th minute. The early loss at the Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium,Quetta, will surely trigger a positive response from Wapda.

NBP thrashed PAF 3-0 in the third and final match of the day with goals from Farooq Shah (13th, 45th) and Attique at KPT Football Stadium Karachi.
