GUJRANWALA: Three people were killed and five injured in an explosion on Sheikhupura Road in Gujranwala on Sunday, DawnNews reported.

It was reported that the blast took place due to a gas pipeline burst near a hospital. The impact of the explosion also caused damage to a nearby private bank building. Electricity wires in the area also caught fire.

The injured were taken to the District Headquarter Hospital.
