KARACHI: The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has formally constituted a five-member Human Resource Committee comprising senior members of the management.

A statement on Thursday said that the Committee would sit down with the CBA at 4 p.m. on May 23 at State Life Building to discuss and address various outstanding legitimate and lawful concerns of the workers and management alike.

It, however, stressed that "the first and foremost priority of everyone should be to ensure that electricity supply to our customers is normalised and all outstanding complaints and faults are attended to in the shortest possible time.

"It is expected that the situation will be back to normal before the start of these discussions which should be held without any preconditions and keeping in mind the best interests of KESC and its customers," the statement added.
