ISLAMABAD: The Indian blind cricket team will be touring Pakistan in November for a series comprising three ODIs and T-20 each.
The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) met with an Indian delegation in Ajman, UAE to discuss the possibility of this cricket series.
The Pakistan delegation included PBCC (Chairman), Syed Sultan Shah, Kahlil Ahmad (Director International Affairs) and Maher M.Yousaf Haroon (General Manager Cricket Operations, Admin and International Affairs PBCC) while the Indian delegation included S.P Nagesh (President) and Mahantesh G.K (Secretary) of Cricket Association of the Blind India (CABI).
A PBCC official told APP on Saturday that both the counterparts have decided to resume sports ties and friendship through sports for peace and harmony between the two countries.
“The delegates also felt that this initiative would strengthen ties between both the nations.”
The official said that like regular cricket this form of cricket is much closely followed as there is cricket mania in both the countries.
“The delegations intend that such bilateral series would take place at least once a year,” he concluded.
