SUKKUR, May 4: Relatives of a murdered man demonstrated outside the Press Club in Thull on Wednesday in protest against police failure to arrest those nominated in the FIR.
Raising slogans against the Garhi Hasan police, they told journalists that instead of arresting the culprits involved in killing of Mukhtiar Ahmed Kunrani, police officials were providing protection to them.
They urged the higher authorities to take notice of the matter and order immediate arrest of the killers.
WATER: Protest continued on second consecutive day on Wednesday by residents of Nawan Goth area in Sukkur against shortage of drinking water.
