NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 26: A man killed his father and uncle and injured six other relatives over a property dispute in Allahdad village near here on Tuesday.

According to relatives, Ghulam Hyder Chandio asked his father Ghulam Qadir to transfer a house in his name. His father refused, saying that he was alive and would not transfer the house or any other property in his name.

Ghulam Hyder opened fire at his father with a pistol. His uncle Mohammad Sadiq, brothers Ali Mohammad, Ghulam Nabi, Ghulam Sarwar, cousins Nazar Mohammad, Raza Mohammad and sister-in-law Farzana intervened and tried to save Ghulam Qadir.

However, Ghulam Hyder kept on firing, killing his father and uncle and injuring brothers, cousins and sister-in-law, the relatives said.

ASI Munir Jatoi said that Raza Mohammad and other relatives of deceased had gone to Padidan police station to lodge an FIR.

He said that the Darya Khan Mari police station, in whose jurisdiction the incident had taken place and which was established a year ago, had not been provided FIR book yet. ILLEGAL DETENTION:

A judicial magistrate raided the Moro police station on Tuesday and freed a labourer who had been kept there in illegal detention.
