ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday urged the Interior Ministry to ensure the proper enforcement of the law relating to use of mobile SIMs to reduce rate of crimes committed through misuse of this communication facility.

He also asked for enhanced cooperation with all the Provincial Governments for overall improvement in the law and order situation in the country.

The Prime Minister was talking to Interior Minister Rehman Malik who called on him at PM House on Monday evening.

The Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister about the security situation in the country with particular reference to Karachi.

He also informed the Prime Minister about various measures being taken by the Government in coordination with Provincial Governments for improvement in law and order in the country.
