Urs of Shah Hussain, lahore

A devotee of Madho Lal Hussain (RA) plays a traditional musical instrument on the occasion of his Annual Urs celebrations held at his shrine in Lahore. Devotees and spectators from across the country visited the shrine of Shah Hussain, also known as Madho Lal Hussain, to attend the Urs which continued till March 28. Urs is traditionally characterized by lighting of candles and clay lamps, sufi music and devotional dance, he is among one of the greatest Punjabi poets till date and is counted among Lahore’s patron saints. – Photo by APP
