KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that all out efforts were being made to improve the law and order situation in Karachi.

Talking to media persons on arrival at Jinnah International Terminal here on Sunday, Malik said that the present government was very sincere and serious to maintain the law and order not only in Karachi but across the country.

He said that the issues related to the 'Peoples Aman Committee' will be taken due care by the government on the directives of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

The minister said that all the stakeholders will be taken into confidence to look after the law and order situation not only in Lyari but also else where in the province.

“Several meetings will be held on Monday with the concerned authorities in this regard,” he added.
