ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Thursday telephoned Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and invited him to visit Kabul. Gilani, during the talks, stressed for the need to device a combined strategy to tackle the terrorism issue for long lasting peace and stability in the region.

Gilani said that he would look forward to the visit and was certain that it would provide another useful opportunity for consultations on the whole gamut of bilateral relations for further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
