KARACHI: The proposed meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and the MQM has been canceled on Sunday. Instead, it was reported that Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat ul Ibaad will be meeting the president today.
According to a member of the MQM Rabita Committee, Wasay Jaleel, the meeting was cancelled due to the busy schedule of President Zardari.
According to sources, a meeting will first take place between the MQM and Interior Minister Rehman Malik, after which the president will meet the MQM as well.
