KARACHI, Jan 22: A judicial magistrate on Saturday remanded four suspects in police custody till Jan 26 for their alleged involvement in targeted killings.

The police produced Mudassir Hussain alias Chief alias Langra, Atif, Murtaza and Shabab before the court of a judicial magistrate (east), who handed them over to the police on physical remand.

According to the prosecution, the suspects were allegedly involved in the murder of three workers of the Awami National Party within the remit of the Gulistan-i-Jauhar police station and attacking a police party to escape arrest.

The police claimed to have arrested the accused in the Nooriabad area on Jan 21.
