ISLAMABAD: Pakistan tenpin bowling team will participate in 21st Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates, it was announced on Wednesday. The championship, which begins on January 14, will be played at the Khalifa Club in Abu Dhabi.

The participant nations include China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Iran, Malaysia, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, India and Indonesia.

Pakistan will compete in the singles, doubles, and team events of the championship.

Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation officials will also participate in a meeting of Asian Bowling Federation General Assembly prior to the championship.

Pakistan squad: Saleem Baig, Ijaz-ur-Rehman, Khalid Saeed Butt, Muhammad Hussain, Sultan Durrani, Faisal Rizvi, Umar, Ijaz Uddin Sheikh (manager).
