Navy easily beat Railways while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) continued to impress in the football event of the 31st National Games being played at the Quaid-i-Azam Sports Complex, Islamabad.

The first match of the day which pitted Navy against a relatively weaker Railways side turned out be a lop-sided encounter even with the 3-1 scoreline at the end of the game.

But it was KP's determination against an experienced PAF side that was the highlight of the day. The match ended in a tight 1-1 draw.

The days handball encounters saw Punjab demolish KP 59-25 while Police were handed a walkover after HEC failed to turn up for its game.
