ISLAMABAD, Nov 11: Karachi-based photographer Agha Feroze has arranged an exhibition of 4,000 photographs of members of the Bhutto family at National Art Gallery.

The photographs are both in monochrome and colour. He has displayed the photographs of the Bhuttos, including former prime ministers Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, covering their family life and tours abroad.

As for Ms Bhutto, the photographer said he had pictured her from the 10th day of her birth to the last day.

There is also a photograph of Mr Bhutto talking to a BBC correspondent in the Rawalpindi central jail on the night he was hanged.

Mr Feroze said he wanted to get his name included in the Guiness Book of World Records by putting the largest collection of photographs in one exhibition.

As a devout PPP loyalist, he wanted a large attendance at the exhibition, particularly from PPP legislators.

“I have been Bhutto family’s photographer since Mr Bhutto established the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) until his murder and the assassination of Ms Bhutto,” he claimed.

The exhibition was opened for the public on Thursday and will continue until Monday.
