LAHORE Goalkeeper Ahsan Ullah showed his class under the bar as Pakistan secured a scoreless draw with China in their second match of Asian Youth Games Football Tournament (Group-B) at Temasek Polytechnic (TP), Singapore on Monday.

In an entertaining match both sides took turns to take control of the match, with possession equally shared. However, wasteful finishing meant that despite the plethora of attacking chances, the game remained scoreless as the final whistle sounded.

Pakistani coach Muhammad Rashid, was disappointed with result but expressed satisfaction the way the team performed, 'It was a fair game and a good result for us. Im disappointed with the missed chances though.'

Chinese coach Zhu Jinxing lamented his boys missed chances. He said, 'Im happy because we defended well (which is an improvement from the last match). But we need to learn more. We were too wasteful today.'

China now lead the group with four points while Pakistan earned their first point of the campaign and remain in third position.

Pakistan take on Myanmar on Wednesday.
