HYDERABAD, June 7: The Allama I.I. Qazi Memorial Committee at a meeting held on Friday deliberated over the handing over of assets of the Allama I.I. Qazi Memorial Society to the University of Sindh.

The meeting took stock of the assets of the society and the benefits which will accrue to the scholars and the students after handing over the assets to the Sindh University.

It also discussed plans about the publication and research work of the society and highlighting the services of Allama. I.I. Qazi.

It constituted a five-member committee headed by Shaukat Hussain Shoro to collect material lying with several people for making it available to the Allama I.I. Qazi Central Library, Sindh University.

All the available funds of the society will be used to support meritorious students and for the publication of works.

It was agreed that a draft of agreement should be prepared by the university about the handing over of the assets of the society which would be signed by the university registrar and Dr N.A. Baloch for better use of assets by the future generations.
