KARACHI, Nov 4: KGA Gymkhana defeated Bright Gymkhana by 90 runs to clinch the Bright Super Cup at their ground Sunday.

Batting first, KGA Gymkhana collected 242 for five in their 35 overs through a fine knock of 96 by Sham Ramesh. Rajesh Ramesh (61) and Calvin Gonsalves (30) also batted well.

Spinners Afzal Qureshi (3/29) and Waseem Qureshi (2/46) shared wickets for Bright Gymkhana.

Chasing 243 runs for victory, Bright Gymkhana were bundled out for 152 runs with Sohail Fazal and Zahooruddin scoring 29 runs apiece.

Pace bowler Rajesh Ramesh had figures of 2/23. Andre Bernard chipped in with 2/25 and Kevin Borges 2/26.

TEN-WICKET VICTORY

Mohammad Hussain CC registered a 10-wicket victory over Sadiq Sports in the Super Six invitation cricket tournament at the Sadiq Sports Sunday.
