Dredger inducted into navy

BEIJING, June 17: Pakistan Navy has purchased a dredger from the China Shipbuilding Corporation (CSC) to enhance its dredging capabilities.

MV Behr Kusha was handed over to Pakistan Navy at a ceremony held at the Shanghai Waigaoqiao shipyard. Vice-Admiral Nayyar Iqbal especially came from Pakistan to attend the ceremony.

Pakistan’s Consul-General Zafaruddin Mahmood and the CSC vice-president were present on the occasion.—APP
