HYDERABAD, June 5: A woman has made an appeal to the Sindh governor, chief minister, and the IGP to save the life of her husband Ghulam Hyder, who is in police custody.

The woman Seemi, resident of Allahdad Chang Goth, Talab No. 3 Hyderabad addressed a press conference at the press club, on Tuesday.

She said three days ago Hyderabad and Shahdadpur police barged into her house at midnight and took her husband away. She tried to trace him at different police stations but to no avail.

She said some policemen threatened to kill her husband in fake encounter if she failed in paying money to them.

She asked the Sindh Governor, Chief Minister and the IGP Sindh to disclose her husband’s whereabouts.

She said her husband was a worker of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz.

Ghulam Hyder Nodani’s two sisters and his mother-in-law were also present in the press conference.
