Railway track blown up

QUETTA, March 5: Parts of a railway track near the Mach railway station were blown up on Monday by a bomb blast. The train service was affected for a couple of hours. The traffic was restored after the track had been repaired.

A police officer of the Mach police station said that the bomb planted by some unknown men on the railway track in Killi Sultan, some two kilometres from the Mach station, exploded at about 4am, damaging an 18-inch portion.

An official of the Pakistan Railways said the damaged track had been repaired by 7am.
