KARACHI: Meera plans to join politics

KARACHI, March 5: Film actress Meera has decided to join politics and said she has offers from almost all major political parties to join. She disclosed her ambition to join national politics in an informal chat with newsmen at the inauguration ceremony of Go Aish Adventure Park here on Monday. She said she was seriously considering to join a political party. However, she did not disclose the name of any particular party.

She said it was premature to say whether she would contest the next general election.

The controversial actress, who worked in several Indian movies, said she worked in the commercial of the Go Aish Adventure Park and she came at the inauguration ceremony as a guest of Sindh governor and the city government.
