KARACHI: Hamara Karachi programmes

KARACHI, Jan 6: The city government has organised five different programmes for Sunday in connection with the Hamara Karachi festival. The events are a street theatre to be staged at Super Market Liaquatabad at 8pm; an Indo-Pakistan Mushaira in the office of the New Karachi Town at 9pm; a walk starting from Mazar-i-Quaid at about 1pm; acrobats by riders of the Military Police at at Mazar-i-Quaid about 4pm; and performance by a music band at Kothari Parade Clifton from 7pm to 11pm.

The celebrations of Hamara Karachi event will start in SITE town from January 11 with holding of a musical show at Fire Brigade Ground at 7pm, PPI adds.

Prominent singers including Rahim Shah, Strings Band and others will perform at the musical show.

In this regard, SITE Town Nazim has issued especial directives to UC Nazims and DTO Sanitation for maintaining cleanliness in the town. Free entry pass can be obtained from UC nazims.
