KARACHI: Teen Hatti bridge

Published July 17, 2006

KARACHI, July 16: The ongoing work at the old bridge linking Teen Hatti with Liaquatabad is posing grave threat to the drivers and motorists at night necessitating provision of lights.

During the last few weeks, pillars were erected for new infrastructural work but no illuminated indication was provided for the traffic plying on that route. Now for the last few days vehicles coming towards Teen Hatti from Liaquatabad or beyond suddenly come across a stub right in the middle of the road at the entry to the bridge. Such a situation could cause a major accident if proper steps are not taken on time.—APP
