SUKKUR: The Fourth Additional Sessions Judge of Khairpur, Abdul Sattar Soomro, on Tuesday sentenced two accused to 12-year imprisonment in a case pertaining to the attempted kidnapping of a woman.
The judge convicted Naseer Ahmed and Javed Ahmed after finding him guilty of attempting to kidnap a woman belonging to their own community.
A fine of Rs50,000 each was also imposed on the convicts.
The case was registered at the Hingorja police station of Khairpur district five years ago.
