NCCIA arrests two ‘harassers’

LAHORE: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on Monday arrested two suspects involved in blackmailing and harassing women through explicit photos and videos.

According to the NCCIA, suspects Farhan Gohar and Muhammad Mushtaq were arrested from Lahore and Kasur.

A mobile phone recovered from Gohar’s possession containing objectionable material belonging to the victim. Investigations revealed that the suspect had been threatening to upload the material on social media.

Two mobile phones were recovered from Mushtaq containing explicit material. The suspect was not only blackmailing the victim but had also shared the objectionable content with the victim’s relatives.
