BRT to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Transport Department has announced suspension of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) on the 9th and 10th of Muharram as part of security measures. Commuters have been advised to plan alternative means for travelling in the city.

Provincial government has also taken extraordinary measures to ensure peaceful Muharram. Traffic movement on various routes would also be restricted and citizens have been advised to make alternative travel arrangements.

Police has also established special security checkpoints and barricades in designated security zones to ensure public safety.
