EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas says she has spoken to both Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, noting that attacks on the Gulf countries and their critical infrastructure are “unacceptable”.
“A return to full-scale war would come at a tremendous cost to the entire region. The diplomatic route remains the best path out of this war,” she writes on X.
