President Donald Trump has again hit out against US media coverage of the war, attacking The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and “all other members of the fake news media” in a post on his Truth Social platform, Al Jazeera reports.

Trump writes that media outlets “will headline that Iran had a masterful and brilliant victory over the United States of America, it wasn’t even close”, even if the country “surrenders” and admits to a resounding defeat.

“The Dumacrats [sic] and media have totally lost their way. They have gone absolutely crazy!!!” Trump adds.

The post does not specify which US media reports had drawn Trump’s ire, but the Republican leader has been routinely hitting out against coverage of the US-Israeli war on Iran.
