Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has said Iran is still reviewing the US’s latest proposal and considering its response.

In remarks carried by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, cited by Al Jazeera, Baghaei also addressed the military confrontation with the US last night, accusing Washington of breaching the ceasefire and international law.

He said Iran’s forces are closely monitoring the situation and are fully ready to respond to any “aggression and adventurism”.
