Iran supreme leader says ex-FM’s death in strikes ‘badge of honour’ for country

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has said the “martyrdom of Dr Sayyid Kamal Kharrazi, a distinguished scholar in the fields of science and culture and seasoned figure in the arena of foreign policy, is a badge of honour” for Iran.

A former Iranian foreign minister, Kharrazi, died from wounds suffered in US-Israel strikes on April 1, Iranian media reported yesterday.
